Poem background.

There was one Jesus of Nazareth, who actually died and rose again which was affirmed by many.




Poem Syntax
Line 1 
If it is only in this life we have hope, we are the most miserable. This life of struggle, every new day and its troubles. Though we die many deaths before our actual demise, we look forward to our paradise here and thereafter.

Lines 2 
Many are fighting addiction, affliction, looking for some sort of super powers to liberate them. Accept your helplessness, Believe his saving Grace and Come to his rest.

Lines 3 
No atonement or sacrifice again is needed after the prefect work on His cross at Calvary.

Lines 4 
No man has ever promised an eternal Salvation, He did. It was to last us a lifetime and the thereafter. It was once and that's all. The Father's Son.

Lines 5 
We serve Him in Spirit and in the truth. We are no more alienated from him, whether we live or die. He dwells in us, among us. There is no shadow of doubt, He was, He is the eternal sovereign being.

Lines 6 
He died, rose, risen to the heavens literally and is now sitten at the right side of His father bringing many men to Glory.

Nneka The Pretty Serpent, part two?

Viewers Digression: Paranormal movie. I do not know what I was thinking buying a ticket to see movie, normally I don't do paranormal. Paranormal are movies on metaphysics, metaphysics= spirits and magic. As a good Christian girl, I'm sorry it doesn't seat well with me. So from title, snake girl is a giveaway, seeing Nneka, red flag but the hype on social media was tempting. First the movie flier I saw had a village setting or was that my imagination, ooh now I know, the 30years ago backtrack. I'm a sucker for movies set in the 90s and backwards. There is something original about those movies, that a playwright can recreate those scene, actually wins for effort. No one spends that much on costume and stage to release rubbish. On rubbish, Nneka storyline just suck. If there is a parts 2, No am not watching! The movie started with lot of promise, but in between the serial killing, the writer lost it. What we once believed Chapter Three

Sister Dorcas is another such vibrant sister in the fellowship. She is my level mate and I guess she did pre-degree like me but I don’t notice her until when we were freshers. And trust me; I was always sitting on the noticing pew, the back benchers. You get to see who comes and go, who has the hottest heels or who is wearing the oxygen trousers. For those who don’t  know what the oxygen trousers is, well Fashion Police 101, those over-zealous brothers who wear oversize everything; trousers, oversize, shirt or coat, oversize even the shoes, it has to be ancient in design. Obviously, the wide trousers let in air and the overall effect makes them look like astronauts in space suit. Well, astronauts need oxygen in space. Even when Tiwa, my friend and I started noticing Dorcas, she is snobbish and does not hang around after service.
